Feeding the Future
The challenge of feeding a growing global population is more pressing than ever. By 2050, nearly 10 billion people will need access to safe and nutritious food, putting immense pressure on traditional agriculture. With increasing land scarcity, soil degradation, and water shortages, conventional farming alone will not be enough to meet future demands. Vertical farming offers a solution by enabling food production in controlled environments, independent of external climate conditions, and with significantly reduced water and land use.
Farm-32 is KPSA’s initiative in this field, designed to make food production possible in areas where traditional agriculture is not viable. Instead of transforming the land itself, farm-32 facilities are placed in locations where farming would otherwise be impossible, such as arid or degraded regions. By bringing the necessary growing conditions into a controlled structure, Farm-32 makes it possible to produce fresh and nutritious food in places where agriculture was never an option.
